A heartfelt Thank You from my Mother-in Law

My mother-in-law Charlotte finally got to look at Handsome Churchill's Blog today. For anyone who doesnt know about her she is a spectacular woman Battling Lung cancer since 2 weeks before Thanksgiving, and only has a few more treatments left. She is absolutly amazed by the love and generosity that everyone here on CB has shown Me and my family.

She herself is a cat lover and has now hoplessly fallen in love with my handsome church. She has One cat named Ceasar and she had her baby Shadow who met a rather unfortunate ending by a coyote and has gone to the rainbow bridge. Mike and I acually saved Shadow but at the time we couldnt have cats so Charlotte took him in.

Anyways Charlotte Has Asked me to Thank Everyone here who is purring and praying for Handsome churchill and my family, She is a very religious woman and believe things happen for a reason. You will all be in her prayers. Yours Truely , Rhiannon and Mike

We are so sorry to hear about Shadow - our beloved Anastasia fell prey to wildlife too last August...

Churchill I hopes you has no more blood in your wee and you can get home soon.

We just read about Churchill struggles. We are sending love and purrs for a speedy recovery so we can read all about the fun and frolic he's bound to have. Just got tickets for the Gizzy raffle and bid on two snuggles over at "no jumping from bridge". Hopefully a little bit of help from lots of great kitties will add to great things. We'll keep on checking up on his progress!

Purrs to your MIL too!

One more thing, Rhiannon. When folks tell you to just have Church "put down" and get another cat to save the vet bills, obviously they have never fallen in love with a particular cat (or dog or whatever).
If your baby gets sick, do you just get rid of it and go adopt another?
Well, that's the same thing with our cats and doggies and other critters.
Don't you dare feel guilty about saving Churchill.

We're going to start sending purrs and purrayers to Charlotte, too. We have loved ones battling cancer, too, and it's such a difficult time.
