This is for everyone to see how much you have helped save my "Handsome little man"
On The TOP is his "AFTER " picture.. Obviously you can see a huge pin and nothing else.
On the BOTTOM is his "BEFORE" if you look at the ruler, you will notice that just a little over to the left is the broken elbow bone. (ouchies!! ) It was completely broken right off.
Churchill had his Stitches out today and Dr.Bird said he is doing 100% better than when she first saw him and is about 70% to what he should be. We go back in 6 weeks to see if he needs to have his pin removed. She told me That he might not have to have it taken out. But He has to go in anyways to have his "hoo-ha-ectomy" as lisa said ( she is the one raffling of those beautiful snuggle's for Churchill's medical expenses.)
I posted these pictures so you would all be touched, by the way i have been touched by you all. You all have really helped to save my kitten and you dont know what that feels like. I am forever greatful to everyone and the kitties at Cat Blogosphere.

Ooohh, pictures of your insides. Glad that your stitches are out and you are well on the way to recovery.
Yay for Churchill! I am so glad that he has his stitches out and is doing so well.
I'm rubbing my own elbow in sympathy! That must have hurt so BAD! Wow! It's so good to hear how well Churchill is doing! That "hoo-ha-ectomy" will be a piece of cake compared to all this!
Thanks for posting these x-rays and for letting us know what they mean. Poor little guy, gosh, I'll bet that hurt. Bless his heart, what he has been through in his little life. So glad you rescued him.
And so proud to be a part of all of this.

That elbow musta hurt like heck. We're impressed Churchill was willing to let you touch him at all, let alone let you pick him up and take him home. He musta known you were trying to help him.
We are just so glad that Churchill is doing better and has a nice forever home, that is all that counts!!!!
Regarding baths: Our experience with bathing is rather different from that of other cats, because we are Sphynx. Since we have no fur to absorb the oils our skin secretes, it builds up on our skin, and we need to be bathed weekly to remove it and stay healthy, even though we groom ourselves like other cats.
They do make shampoos especially for cats. We are bathed once a week, and it does us absolutely no harm. We are also wiped down with baby wipes on occasion.
Ask your vet about whether you should wait until the stitches are out.
Glad to hear you are feeling better and have those stitches out. Neat xrays, that helps get the full picture!
Wow! That is a big pin! I am so glad Churchill is doing better. He has a nice skeleton, too.
This is great - I am so happy that he is doing so much better!
WOW, A BIONIC KITTY! That would be a great television show! We think you should "pitch" it to the executives! We are so happy that Churchill is doing better!
Who knows, after all this is over, Churchill might run at "bionic" speed!
Oh we are so happy for Churchill! Thank goodness things are going so well for him. We do appreciate you keeping us up to date on him and looking at his xrays make me cringe. The poor baby...we are just so happy he is doing 70% better and that is saying alot...we know he will doing 100% with some TLC which we all know you have to give to him.

We're all so glad to hear that Churchill is doing better! Dad is such a nerd because he's a chiropractor and thought Churchill's spine looked cool on the x-rays. Dads -- whatcha gonna do!?! Keep up the good work, Churchill!

Yes, I do know what it's like.
Last year, I had a little rescue-kitty -- he didn't make it -- but the out-pouring of support (both financial for vet bills and emotional) from the Cat Blogosphere touched me so deeply.
Truly amazing people & cats!
Much love to you, Churchill, and your family! We can't tell you how HAPPY we are that he's gonna be healthy enough to get his hoo-ha-ectomy!!! :)

Gandalf & Grayson's Mom
I nearly cried. Churchill looks a LOT like my Willem (aka William the Conqueror - RIP) A gorgeous silver-blue, with hair that grew to be nicely long, and a tail that was longer than his entire body!
He was my bestest ever friend and guard kitteh. When I had pneumonia, he was my warm, purring extra blanket. He didn't leave my side for 10 days! He guarded me, and always came running and mewing to see me. He is playing in the Meadow now, waiting to see me again.
I hope Churchill has a great life with love too! Thank you for helping Churchill!!!
Just checking in for any more Churchill news.
The first check from the Cat Blogosphere fund raiser should be arriving tomorrow via Priority Mail.
Hope you all had a great weekend.

Well, it sounds like Churchill is on his way to recovery and should have good use of his leg. That's such good news. We look forward to seeing some new pictures of him soon.
